Kickass

About

This is one of two themes submitted by a group of graphic designers that work near Rome, Italy. Both of their themes are based on a grunge vision - something completely different from the basic Moodle theme.

Features
  • Complex graphics and an aggressive look.
  • Rounded corners on the sideblocks.
  • Uses both Base and Canvas as parent themes.
  • Dock is enabled.
  • Uses the stripped down Boilerplate CSS framework.

    I quite like this theme, I think if you removed the border lines from the calendar it would make the design a little bit more seamless.

    Here is some CSS to achieve my desired effect:

    .minicalendar td, .minicalendar th {
      border-width: 0;
    }

    As with your other theme, the dock does not work, docking one item causes all blocks to vanish. Undocking them doesn’t work either. In addition, only the front page works in IE7, all subpages are blank…

    @Joe - I had this happen in a core theme I was working on a while back, but I can’t recall what the problem was that was causing it. I vaguely remember it being related to the variables I was using in the header, but I’m not sure why or how.

    @Stefano - feel free to send me updated files for the demo and download if you find a fix.
