    Hi Patrick,

The Vitality theme we purchased has spacing problems that show up in the left column in IE but look perfect in Firefox.

I sent you the two screen shots via email.

Please advise how I can patch the Theme to work properly in IE (I'm specifically using IE7) or provide an updated download.

    Thanks,

    Terry

    Here are the screen shots.

P.S. FYI, Your forum won't seem to accept posts with images over 150K. It just drops the post entirely without an error message. The error does appear if you subsequently add comments to the original post.

I'm having trouble reproducing the problem, Terry. I've tested the behavior you're describing in both IE6 and IE7. The spacing of the block list items looks just fine on my test server.

I notice that your Administration block has a link that reads "Launch Connect Central" - is this a third party Admin block? Or is this just a hack you've added yourself?

Also, is this happening to only the admin block, or is it happening to all blocks with list items in the left menu?

Can you reproduce this behavior on my test server?

    Screenshot attached.

    Hi Patrick,

The menu item you refered to is simply another link that has been added to the menu tree and does not involve hacking any Moodle code that would impact the display. It is part of our custom integration of Moodle with Adobe Connect Pro web conferencing services.

THe fact is that the same issue shows up in the Course Category listings, (but oddly, not the Site Administration block), in the Course Activities Block, the Course People Block, Blog Menu and a number of others - but only when they are in the left hand column. The same blocks display perfectly in the right hand column and in both columns in Firefox.

If I visit your demo site, the display is fine in the same browser. Very mysterious.

WOuld a new download of the master theme resolve the issue do you think? Perhaps a modification made since the purchase has resolved the issue. The only way to find out is to try I guess.

It really can't hurt to give it a go.

    Terry

I originally doubted this was the issue since your purchase was relatively recent, but we ought to give it a try. I'll go ahead and send you the link for an updated version of the theme.

Oh - one last thought - have you renamed your theme at all?

Update: a new theme package fixed Terry's issue.
