I have been using the free template liip which is exactly what I needed (although I also bought elegance for another site) but the ie6/7 css files don't seem to fix the stylesheet problems- namely the icons don't appear properly in admin mode. I turned on the meta.php and they appear in the source code at being loaded but they seem to have no effect. Anyone got any ideas?

The IE CSS files in the Liip theme are empty; they are there in the event that we need them down the road. Turning on meta.php will have no affect.
Is there a screenshot of the problem you are experiencing that you can share?

Patrick, thanks for getting back to me. Yes I have attached a screen shot to this post. Its actually the same problem I had with the elegence theme but you kindly provided an update for that theme that would work with most modern browsers. I'm guessing the changes you made to the elegance theme have to also be applied to the liip theme. Since its a free one it may not be top of your list.

Hmm. I thought I'd updated Liip this summer. Guess not.
