Are upgrades for Premium Themes free?
We always offer free upgrades on minor releases of Moodle. For example, if something in a theme breaks from 1.9.5 to 1.9.6, we’ll offer that upgrade for free. But, we have to charge for major release theme upgrades. For example, Moodle 2.0 is going to completely change the way themes are written, so all of our themes are going to have to be recoded from scratch.
We anticipate offering our previous customers a discount to upgrade, but until we know just how much time we’re going to need to invest in each theme, the dollar value of that discount is still up in the air.
